01 · PRIVACYPrivacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you visit the Sonic website or use Sonic through Discord. Sonic is developed by Xtreme.
Information we may process
- Discord information: Depending on the commands and features you use, Sonic may process Discord identifiers, usernames, server identifiers, channel identifiers, member-related information, command inputs and configuration data needed to provide bot features.
- Server configuration: Settings such as command configuration, channels, moderation settings, welcome settings or other feature preferences may be stored when a server administrator enables those features.
- Website analytics: The website uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand website traffic and usage. Analytics data is used to help maintain and improve the website.
- Technical information: Hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical information such as requests, logs, device/browser information or network information as necessary to operate and secure their services.
How information is used
Information is used only as reasonably necessary to operate Sonic's features, save requested server settings, respond to commands, troubleshoot errors, improve reliability, protect the service from abuse, and comply with applicable obligations.
Data sharing
Sonic does not sell users' personal information. Information may be processed by service providers required to operate the website or bot, such as hosting, analytics, database, Discord and other infrastructure providers. Those providers have their own terms and privacy policies.
Data retention & deletion
Data should be retained only for as long as it is needed for the feature or operational purpose for which it was collected, subject to technical, security and legal requirements. If you want a stored Sonic configuration or other bot-related data removed, contact the developer through the official support server and provide enough information to identify the relevant server or account.
Security
Reasonable technical and administrative measures are used to protect stored information. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
02 · TERMSTerms of Service
By adding, accessing or using Sonic, you agree to use the bot and website responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws, Discord's rules and these terms.
Using Sonic
- You must have permission to use Sonic in a Discord server and should have the permissions necessary for any administrative action you ask the bot to perform.
- You must not intentionally abuse, disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for harmful purposes, or attempt to bypass Sonic's security or access controls.
- You are responsible for the actions performed through your Discord account and for the server configurations you create.
- Some features may depend on Discord, Lavalink, hosting, databases or other third-party services and may change or become temporarily unavailable.
Service availability
Sonic is provided on an availability-dependent basis. Maintenance, outages, Discord API changes, hosting incidents, music-provider issues or other technical events may temporarily affect features. No specific uptime or uninterrupted operation is guaranteed.
Changes and termination
The developer may modify, suspend or discontinue features when necessary. Access may also be restricted where there is abuse, security risk, policy violation or a requirement from a relevant platform or service provider.
Intellectual property
Sonic's original branding, website design, code and original content belong to their respective owners unless otherwise stated. Discord names, trademarks and platform assets remain the property of Discord. Third-party libraries and services remain subject to their own licenses and terms.
03 · POLICYAcceptable Use Policy
Sonic is intended for normal Discord community, music, moderation, utility and monitoring use.

- Using Sonic to facilitate unlawful activity or to deliberately violate Discord's Terms, Community Guidelines or Developer policies.
- Attempting to compromise the bot, website, database, hosting environment, API keys, accounts or other users.

- Using Sonic to collect, expose or distribute another person's private information without a lawful and appropriate basis.
- Using moderation, messaging or automation features for harassment, spam or other harmful abuse.
Violations may result in feature restrictions, removal of configurations, blocking of access or other appropriate action. Discord's own rules continue to apply to Discord usage.
04 · ANALYTICSCookies & Analytics
The Sonic website uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure website usage and improve the experience. The website may also use browser or hosting mechanisms required for basic operation, security and performance.
Analytics and hosting providers can process information according to their own privacy documentation. Sonic does not use analytics as a reason to ask users for unnecessary personal information.
05 · SERVICESThird-Party Services
Sonic can interact with services that Sonic does not own or control. These may include Discord, Vercel, database infrastructure, Lavalink or other providers used for specific functionality.
Each third-party service has its own terms, privacy rules, availability and security practices. Using Sonic does not replace or override those policies. Discord's Developer Terms specifically require applications to maintain an accessible privacy policy describing their data practices.
